Job Description

The City of Coral Springs is seeking an advanced professional with experience in technical planning work involving all aspects of transportation and transit programming. Responsibilities include oversight and implementation of long-range transportation programs resulting in transportation and transit improvements and application of requirements stipulated in traffic studies and analysis. Work is performed under the general direction of the Chief Planner and is reviewed through observation, conferences, reports and evaluation of results achieved. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Planning, Transportation, Public Administration or closely related field. Master's Degree preferred. Five (5) to seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in transportation management programs; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Must possess valid Florida Driver's License and have an acceptable driving record. American Planning Association Certification, preferred.
