The City seeks a servant leader of high integrity to serve as its new Assistant City Manager. The ideal candidate will be an innovative, high energy individual who is comfortable exploring creative solutions to community issues. Experience with project management, process improvement, service delivery alternatives, succession planning, organizational development, and related staffing needs is strongly desired Demonstrated knowledge of CIP budget development, grant submission and administration, board/commission liaison work, planning and development experience, and AICP certification a plus.
The selected candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in public administration, business administration, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred. A minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in municipal government management is required. Current experience serving as a City Manager, Assistant City Manager, or Department Head is preferred.
