This is an exceptional opportunity for an accomplished municipal executive to guide Rosemead through its next chapter—strengthening the City’s foundation while shaping a vibrant, inclusive, and prosperous future.
The City of Rosemead seeks a visionary and hands-on City Manager with a Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business, or a related field (Master’s preferred) and seven or more years of progressively responsible public sector leadership, including at least two years in a high-level administrative or executive role.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and results-driven “doer,” able to translate long-term vision into tangible outcomes. Core strengths include economic development, land use planning, fiscal management, and community engagement, coupled with the ability to build trust and inspire collaboration across staff, Council, and the community. Rosemead values a leader who is approachable, transparent, politically astute, and committed to integrity, inclusion, and innovation.

Salary: $287,000 – $380,000 annually DOQ with an attractive benefits package.
