WC/ Insurance Administrator

Upper Darby Township is currently recruiting for an experienced Workers’ Comp/ Insurance Administrator. The Administrator will oversee the day to day issues with regard to property and casualty claims, including workers; compensation. They will be responsible for planning, assigning, coordinating and supervising risk management programs and personnel, including, employee safety, vehicle claims, general loss control, property damage, Workers Compensation and IOD programs.
The Administrator will ensure timely processing of claims; evaluate accident reports to determine accuracy and completeness and to ensure adequate investigation; ensure that the Township is in compliance with applicable laws and regulations; provides training and guidance to department heads and direct supervisors.
Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and at least two (2) years handling workers’ compensation and disability claims or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have knowledge of workers’ compensation guidelines and Pennsylvania state laws pertinent to workers’ compensation claims as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat.
