The City of Lexington is a historic community with approximately 4700 population located 40 miles east of Kansas City. The City has approximately a $6 million budget, 35 full-time and 32 part-time employees that consists of Police, Fire/EMS, Street, Sewer, Water and Administration departments. Duties include: economic development, personnel management, budgeting, financial reporting, creating council agendas, policy formation and procuring state/federal aid programs. Experience in grant writing, excellence in written and spoken communication or posses equal qualifications and experience. Must be a graduate of an accredited college or university.
