The City of Central is seeking qualified applicants for a Planning & Community Services Director. This very visible position, will plan, direct, manage, and oversee the activities and operations of the Planning and Community Services Department including Historic Preservation, Planning & Zoning, Code Compliance, Building, Conveyances, GIS, Grants, Economic Development, and other special projects. The position requires the exercise of independence in the performance of work, in conducting projects, in preparing reports, making decisions and recommendations to the public, staff, and/or City Council. Must be able to identify the primary problem, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
