York County Government is seeking a dynamic, visionary leader who will thrive in our rapidly growing organization. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership competencies, a growth mindset, and a commitment to high performance; as well as excel in fostering a culture of continuous improvement while driving the organization forward through strategic planning. Applicants with a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business, Government, or closely related field with at least five (5) years of management experience as an assistant city or county manager or administrator, or as an assistant director or department director are encouraged to apply. Upon hire, the Assistant County Manager will be assigned to support projects and key departments as strengths dictate.

Salary and Benefits
Projected Hiring Range: $175,000 - $200,000 per year depending on qualifications
