The successful candidate will proactively engage with the Community and the City Council to develop and provide progressive and innovative initiatives for the City Council’s discussion and consideration to meet the changing needs of the community while advancing the goals and priorities of the City Council. The next City Manager will have a reputation of being a confident leader with a proven track record of fostering professional relationships with the community.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration or a closely related field; a Master’s degree in Public Administration or a related field is preferred. And a minimum of seven years of broad progressively responsible experience in municipal government including executive leadership experience in a comparable, diverse, and complex urban city.
Compensation
Salary: DOQ, and an attractive benefits package.
