The City of North Liberty is seeking an outgoing, self-motivated and organized individual for a full-time Information Technology Coordinator position. The position proactively coordinates all aspects of the City’s technology needs and is responsible for planning, implementing and maintaining the City’s information technology, security and infrastructure. The position maintains technology operations including, but not limited to, computer networking, software purchasing and licensing, purchasing of computer equipment and coordinating with contracted IT consultants. The position will also support Library technology. The split between City responsibilities and Library responsibilities is approximately 80/20. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information science, computer systems analysis and programming, management information systems or related field or a minimum of five years of experience managing information services, supervising the development of information systems, working with computer software, hardware and operation systems related to IT administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
