The Information Technology (IT) Manager is the organization's chief information officer, responsible for leadership, management and supervision of the City's Information Technology Division. The position holds responsibility for the City's overall IT strategic planning, IT policies, computer applications support, operating systems support, network functionality, security, budgeting, training, purchasing, and consulting functions. Additionally, the position functions as a working manager who administers and oversees maintenance of a mixed-environment network, and works closely with the City staff to guide and coordinate day-to-day activities.
