Job Description

Hartford, VT (9,500) seeks proactive and forward-thinking leader, with a commitment to collaboration, social equity, and community engagement. The community has a rich history, beautiful natural assets and a revitalized downtown. Hartford is located at the intersection of interstates 89 and 91, has easy access to rail, air, and public transportation, is two hours from Boston and minutes from Dartmouth College, the Geisel School of Medicine and the world-class medical facilities of Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. Position is responsible for the preparation and oversight of $17M operating budget, funding multiple departments employing ~100 FTEs. Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) and 7 years progressively responsible management experience in public administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Salary based upon experience and qualifications – most recently $133,000. EOE.
