The Senior Management Analyst manages complex and confidential operational and administrative projects that transcend department lines or require a high degree of specialized knowledge. Projects may include major service restructuring plans and activities, organizational development, best practice analysis and process improvement in a variety of Town operations such as budget development and control; accounting and fiscal reporting; staffing; purchasing; facilities development; space and program planning; and operational planning and evaluation. Depending on the project, to accomplish goals the Analyst either acts independently and executes specific actions directly or directs and supervises the work of assigned staff. The Analyst exercises considerable initiative and independent judgment within an assigned area of responsibility.
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Finance, Public Administration or a closely related field. Master's Degree in Public Administration preferred.
Six (6) years responsible experience in one of the fields listed above of which at least three (3) years have been directing or coordinating programs, projects and personnel.
