A few years ago, the Colorado City/County Management Association (CCCMA) began recognizing the managers who go above and beyond by conferring two annual awards. One is for the "Manager of the Year" and the other is for "Lifetime Achievement." This year, CCCMA will recognize ICMA Liaison Mark Achen during their Winter conference in Glenwood Springs, and the award will be named for him from this point forward.
