City of Mondovi is Hiring for a Quality Individual for Its Next City Administrator/Clerk

The City of Mondovi is seeking to fill a full-time, at least 40-hours per week, employee position as its next City Administrator/Clerk (CAC) – with some odd hour work. Council prefers the selected candidate to reside within the City limits, as this is an essential position to the functioning of the City and the candidate must be able to respond to City needs in a timely manner, but will consider outside City limits depending upon the qualifications and skills of the selected candidate. The current CAC is leaving for another appointment after nearly four years of productive work, which included implementing and improving the City’s finances and multiple managed projects. This community demonstrates an employee staff level of competent individuals with an amazing tenure across the board, including the CAC position, which has been held by three candidates over the past six decades. This is an important leadership role for the City as we are currently in the construction stages for a new Wastewater Treatment Plant and many other projects to come in the near future. Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration or equivalent degree(s) or educational experience, and three to five years or more of progressively responsible management or supervisory experience. A Master’s degree is preferred in Public Management, Public Policy or a related field. Experience in a public government supervisory position may be substituted on a pro-rated basis for the education requirement. Project management experience on a major project are highly desired. Salary range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000 +/- annually depending on qualifications, with benefits which include: health insurance, paid vacation and holidays, and Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS).
