The Knowledge Network has over 44,000 individual profiles! These profiles have been prepared by city managers, deputies, economic development specialists, parks and recreation employees, ICMA’s strategic partners, students, and everyone in between with a strong interest in local government. The Knowledge Network is a great resource, and it keeps getting better because of you! The more documents you add about your own municipality, the more blogs you write, and the more questions you ask and answer, the more information gets spread around the world. Created to foster excellence and innovation in local government, the Knowledge Network is filled with rich content thanks to our members and the Knowledge Network Team.

In order for you to get more out of the Knowledge Network and give back a little, too, we have created a blog series on “Tips and Tricks for the Knowledge Network.” These posts, which will appear every Friday through at least the end of the year, will touch on the basics, such as how to create and edit a profile, as well as on more advanced topics, such as how to create exciting and attention-grabbing content for your blog. We hope you will follow along with this series, learn a thing or two (and maybe more!), and comment and ask us questions! We want to hear from you! Let us know how you are enjoying the series and whether there are any other topics that you’d like us to cover.
