The ICMA Executive Board held its quarterly meeting June 6-7, 2025, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Here is a summary of the major actions undertaken by the board.
The newly selected 2025-2026 president-elect and newly elected regional vice presidents will take office during the 2025 ICMA Annual Conference this October.
Each session has a different topic: Ethical Leadership in Communications, Balancing Political Neutrality with Personal Advocacy, and Local Government’s Commitment to Democracy

Corporate members can cast their vote for regional vice presidents to serve on the ICMA Executive Board, as well as forproposed amendments to Tenets 8 and 10 of the Code of Ethics.
