Planning and Zoning Official
The Town of East Hampton is seeking a qualified and motivated Planning and Zoning Official to support and guide the municipality's planning, land-use management, and development initiatives. The successful candidate will play a key role in compliance with planning regulations, and the effective implementation of municipal development policies.

The Planning and Zoning Official is responsible for overseeing implementation of a new Plan of Conservation and Development, administering and enforcing the zoning and wetlands regulations and other relevant Town Ordinances as well as providing staff support to all land use commissions and other boards and commissions as necessary.

Master’s degree in planning and minimum one-year experience preferred, along with supervisory and budgeting experience, or other combination of education and experience may be considered. Salary range: $88,728.10 - $104,386.00 per year, plus benefit package. This is a bargaining unit position.
