The Town Administrator must have the ability and willingness to be present - with staff and residents, at meetings, and in the community. Westwood has an AAA rating and FY26 budget of $130.1M. Westwood has a three-member Select Board-Town Administrator form of government with Open Town Meeting. Westwood has been nationally recognized as a “Best Place to Live in the U.S.” and for the excellence of its school system. Preferred candidates will have a master’s degree, preferably in public or business administration or a related field and at least seven years of progressively responsible management experience. Preferred candidates should have superior skills in municipal financial and budget management, project management, collective bargaining, and personnel management.
