The City of Cudahy, located in Southeast Los Angeles County, is seeking a dynamic, progressive, and community-focused City Manager to lead a diverse, evolving city with strong cultural roots and a forward-looking vision. With a population of approximately 22,000, Cudahy is small in size but rich in opportunity—offering a unique blend of big-city access and small-town connection.
The ideal candidate will be a visible, hands-on leader who brings energy, innovation, and strategic thinking to City Hall. They will possess the ability to inspire staff, partner effectively with the City Council, and engage the community in meaningful ways. A progressive forward thinker, the next City Manager will advance economic development, enhance organizational efficiency, and help shape the City’s future through collaboration, transparency, and inclusive leadership.
Key opportunities include implementing the City’s “Cudahy 2040” General Plan, managing smart growth, modernizing operations, and deepening community partnerships. The ability to speak Spanish is highly desirable.

Qualifications:
A combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying. A typical path includes a Bachelor’s degree in public or business administration, finance, or a related field, and ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in municipal government, including five (5) years in a management or administrative capacity.
Compensation:
