The City of Fayetteville is currently recruiting for a City Manager's Office (CMO) Grants Manager to perform highly complex, responsible, and professional duties inherent in the City’s grant process to include developing grant proposals and managing grant awards. The work involves responsibility to identify, secure, manage, and report on grants to support the City’s initiatives and priorities. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local grant regulations while coordinating with internal departments and external stakeholders to maximize funding opportunities for local government projects and services.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
Experience:
Five years of increasingly responsible experience in grant writing, management, or financial administration. Preferred experience working in government or nonprofit settings.
Training:
Equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.

From the time of closing, the selection process is anticipated to last 4 - 6 weeks. The process will consist of a panel interview with the selected candidate being subject to a pre-employment drug screen, background check and driving history check.
