Planning Manager

The City of Moorpark is seeking a knowledgeable, generalist Planning Manager, with strong technical and writing skills and a hands-on approach, to manage and coordinate activities and operations of Planning and Code Enforcement Divisions of the Community Development Department. Significant development activity in progress.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in urban planning, engineering, business administration, public administration, or a related field. A minimum of five years of increasingly responsible and professional urban planning experience, including two years of administrative and supervisory responsibility; Master’s degree is desirable; AICP preferred. Must posses a valid California driver license.

Salary and Benefits: $110,052.80 - $148,033.60; generous benefit package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Deferred Comp, Annual and Administrative Leave, 11.5 paid holidays, work/life balance initiatives including 9/80 schedule, and more.
