Global Connectivity
Don't miss out on this unique day-long workshop addressing issues at the intersection of government, policy, and infrastructure and welcoming global participants.

On March 12, the Dutch Cycling Embassy is hosting a unique and engaging workshop at the 25th Annual National Bike Summit hosted by the League of American Bicyclists. This event shares knowledge from the deep Dutch history of innovative cycling infrastructure, addressing topics of mobility strategy and experimentation while focusing on the five design principles of bicycle infrastructure: safety, coherence, directness, attractiveness, and comfort. Learn about these principles and about how to design great cycle networks during this interactive session designed for government officials at all career levels. Through presentation materials and the participation in hands-on assignments, learn about U.S. and Dutch best practices and how this knowledge can be extended beyond.

If you are interested in participating in this event or learning more, please contact the Global Engagement Team at global@icma.org for more information.
