Planning and Zoning Administrator

The Town of Ravenel is accepting applications for a Planning and Zoning Administrator. Responsible for administration of the Zoning Code and Comprehensive Plan, permitting, and plan review. Works closely with the Planning & Zoning Commission and the Board of Zoning Appeals. Candidates to have municipal zoning experience, be detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure. Good communication, organization, and recordkeeping skills are critical. The Town is looking for candidates with at least 1 year of experience in a municipal environment. A bachelor’s degree in urban planning, or a closely related field is desired. AICP certification is helpful. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Salary will be dependent upon qualifications.
