Practical and tangible actions for local leaders allocating Coronavirus Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (CLFRF).

This program will help local governments better understand the variety of programs implementable with their respective Coronavirus Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (CLFRF) allocation. The discussion will specifically focus on practical and tangible actions local leaders and grant managers can take to design and institute programs that are compliant with the CLFRF Program Guidance and the Uniform Guidance (2 CFR Part 200).

Participants will also have the opportunity to divide into smaller groups to learn about and explore the lessons learned from actual American Rescue Plan Act programs being implemented nationwide by communities of comparable sizes.

Speakers:

This webinar/discussion will be presented and facilitated by Hagerty Consulting staff that are currently working with local governments, of all sizes, as they implement and manage CLFRF:

Prior to joining Hagerty, John was Chief of Staff for the City of Detroit’s Office of the Chief Financial Officer, helping Detroit recover post-bankruptcy. He also has a background in management consulting with a focus in strategic project management, public sector finance and administration, and restructuring all of which he employed working with the Financial Oversight and Management Board for Puerto Rico (FOMB) as well as during his tenure with the City of Detroit.
