A community forum in Dubuque, IA attended by residents, City leaders, business community leaders, non-profit organizations, and other local groups led to the development of the volunteer Safe Community Task Force (SCTF). The task force is comprised of 25 city appointed individuals and leaders from various departments. Together they collaborate on the best crime prevention measures and implementation. The task force also extends to sub-committees of volunteers who work directly in the community.
