According to recent research conducted by Vital Smarts, 85% of high-stakes projects and initiatives failed and 78% of survey respondents indicated they were working on a "doomed" project at the time of the survey. To combat this, we reviewed with the Executive Team the "Five Crucial Problems" that plague projects across industries (fact-free planning, AWOL sponsors, skirting the priority-setting process, not speaking up about problems, and team members not supporting the project). The attached document was developed to clearly define roles and responsibilities for everyone at the outset of projects to help ensure success.
