ICMA members can listen to the Leadership Teleconference hosted April 9, 2007, by Executive Director Bob O’Neill. O’Neill discussed the issue of rising health-care costs with ICMA members Darin Atteberry, city manager of Fort Collins, Colorado, and Eric Anderson, city manager of Tacoma, Washington, who are members of an ICMA Health-Care Advisory Group. The advisory group was established as part of ICMA’s partnership with CIGNA HealthCare to develop the resources and tools managers need to address rising costs with new approaches to health-care coverage.
