The city of Tamarac, FL created the Healthy Living Program as a way to enable residents to learn about their role in maintaining health and managing their chronic health conditions.  Participants are tested on their knowledge of these conditions before the start of the program and after they have completed it. The Healthy Living Program also has a partner program for Spanish-speaking residents.
