The City of Richmond’s vision is to be “the most appealing, livable and well-managed community in Canada”. 

The “Corporate Enterprise Fund” (Fund) is a corporate action to foster an entrepreneurial spirit in how the City approaches operational needs. 

The City developed the Fund in 1995 as an innovative means to provide internal revolving financing for projects that have not traditionally been part of the City’s “core business” considerations. The Fund is administered as a loan. Any monies borrowed from the Fund are repaid with interest in order to grow the Fund over time to ensure its long term viability.
