The USAID-funded program, the Regional Afghan Municipalities Program for Urban Populations (RAMP-UP), seeks to improve the capacity of local governments in four Afghan regions. RAMP-UP North supported three district mayors from Khulm, Agcha, and Andkhoy who were recently recognized for their efforts to advance revenue enhancement, service delivery, budgeting, and good management. ICMA was a member of the RAMP-UP North team.
