The City of Monterrey created a Neighborhood and Community Improvement program to ensure that funds from the City’s annual budget go toward capital projects that improve residential neighborhoods and benefit the community. The Neighborhood Improvement Program also ensures that one resident from each of the City’s 16 different residential areas are appointed to the Neighborhood Improvement Program Committee.
