ICMA conducted a workshop on Environmental Management Systems (EMS) in Austin, TX. In this session, Federal and state personnel discussed 1) the resources and support at the state and federal level for local governments and others, 2) how those entities can tap these resources and, 3) what efforts and activities the federal and state levels are undertaking to encourage and promote EMS.
