This Downtown Master Plan for the City of Asheville, North Carolina won a 2010 Marvin Collins Outstanding Planning Award from the North Carolina Chapter of the American Planning Association.  Judges cited the plan's "highly inclusive" planning process, interacting with citizens through 14 separate public meetings during its development.
