This is the 2010 nomination of Bryan, Texas' Sex Offender Data Mapping program for the Community Partnership Award. City Manager David Watkins is credited with aiding in the development of this program which keeps the public informed of activities in and around their neighborhoods, property, and families. Through a collaboration of services, this system provides the ability to spatially visualize data to improve public safety personnel's understanding of their surroundings and to establish as much transparency to citizens as possible.
