This is the 2010 nomination of Cedar Park, Texas' City of Cedar Park and Faith in Action Caregivers - Northwest Partnership program for the Community Partnership Award. City Manager Brenda Eivens and Assistant City Manager Jose Madrigal are credited with aiding in the development of this program which provides transportation, information and referrals, help with errands, social contact and family involvement, handyman services, and a medical equipment closet to local senior citizens. In three years the program has offered over 2,300 rides, benefiting 1,000 seniors. Specifically, in 2009 the program assisted 335 seniors.
