Onslow County, North Carolina is nominated for the 2006 ICMA Program Excellence Award in Community Partnerships, for the County's Military-Civilian Task Force for Emergency Response (MCTFER). The Task Force was developed to execute interoperations and mutual aid agreements for emergency response for the benefit of citizens of the military and civilian communities in the area. This document contains a description of the program, as well as a discussion of the program's results and lessons learned.
