The Florida Alliance Ambassadors’ Forum, that is! After months of planning for the Forum on September 1, the City of Clearwater and I made the hard decision to cancel the Friday before because of Tropical Storm Erika’s threats to the entire state. Over the weekend she grew weak and took another tack, so we decided at the last minute to put the Forum back on, and were we glad we did! The group made for very good conversation and open exchange of ideas. Thanks to the city of Clearwater, Hillsborough County, Manatee County, and the city of Gainesville for participating in this opportunity to connect and network. The pizza and beer at a local pub was a great ending to an engaging day. We’ll be doing this again in six months. Check back on the web site for date/location.
