We have posted a number of civic engagement related documents under the "files" section of the Center for Management Strategies Group that were identified as "best resources" in our research/review of this topic earlier this year.  These include references on how to plan a civic engagement program, effective online tools for engagement, as well as other effective resources that can help you in your efforts to engage your community. 

Additionally, our researcher in civic engagement has developed an assessment instrument that you can download from the "files" section of the CMS Group (it is in the folder labeled civic engagement!)  This assessment will allow you to assess your current efforts in civic engagement as well as your organization's capacity to implement a comprehensive civic engagement program.
