Back-to-school season is upon us once again. This is your chance to show off innovations you introduced during the summer in your community and schools—while your students were binge watching Netflix or soaking up some rays.

• Many cities have been looking at how they can increase student interest in the local government process. A couple of plans from Missouri and Illinois cities can be found here.
• Other local governments focused on bringing their citizens, young and old, outside for some good old-fashioned human interaction. Details on getting a community outside and moving can be found here.
