Thirty-two ICMA members were able to join us for the 98th Annual Conference in Phoenix thanks to  ICMA's conference assistance scholarship program. The scholarships were awarded in the categories of Young Professionals, Workplace Diversity, Small Community with Limited Financial Resources, and Members in Transition.

One additional scholarship was awarded to a graduate student in memory of Kansas University Professor Edward O. Stene. All scholarship recipients received complimentary registration to the conference, as well as a monetary stipend to off-set additional conference related expenses.  ICMA congratulates the following individuals who were this year's scholarship recipients.

Young Professional Scholarships (open to individuals who have three years’ or fewer experience as a full-time local government employee):
