This year marks not only ICMA’s 100^th anniversary but also the 40^th anniversary of Solace, our counterpart organization in the United Kingdom. In celebration, ICMA President Simon Farbrother and Solace President Mark Rogers are extending an invitation to members of both organizations to strengthen their global connections.

In this special anniversary year, Farbrother and Rogers invite members of Solace and ICMA to join the global dialogue and explore the rich resources offered by the each organization, become members of both organizations, and participate in their conferences.

In their joint invitation, the presidents say, “We hope you will join us in celebrating the past and positioning our organizations to assist local government leaders of the future in building sustainable communities to improve community residents’ lives worldwide.”
