Given the success seen to date, as well as a growing demand among mayors to leverage innovation techniques to drive policy, Bloomberg Philanthropies is significantly expanding the Innovation Delivery program, investing $45 million to introduce the Innovation Delivery approach in many more cities. U.S. cities will be competitively selected to participate in this next phase of the Innovation Delivery Grant Program.

Eligible cities must have a minimum population of 100,000 people. In addition, the mayors must have a minimum of two years left before the next election as of January 1, 2015, and be eligible to run for another term. Selected cities will receive a significant cash investment, expert consulting assistance, and opportunities to collaborate and share knowledge with a growing community of peers around the nation. To find out more about the competition timeline, eligibility requirements, what winning cities receive, and other related information, check out the Competition FAQs.
