Dan Heath is a senior fellow at Duke University’s Center for the Advancement of Social Entrepreneurship. With his brother Chip, Heath co-authored Decisive: How to Make Better Choices in Life and Work, as well as two previous New York Times bestsellers, Switch and Made to Stick. Spending 47 weeks on the New York Times bestseller list, Amazon.com’s editors named Switch one of the Best Nonfiction Books of the Year. Made to Stick was named the Best Business Book of the Year and spent 24 months on the BusinessWeek bestseller list.

In their latest book, Decisive, selected by the Washington Post  as one of the ”books every leader should read,” they tackle how to overcome our natural biases and irrational thinking to make better decisions about our work, lives, organizations, and careers.

At the 100th Annual Conference, on Tuesday, September 16, 8:30-9:30 a.m., Heath’s presentation, Decisive, will introduce a four-step process that draws on extensive studies, stories, and research, and offers specific, practical tools to help you think more clearly about your options, get out of your head, and improve your decision making at work and at home.
