While there is Veterans Day in the fall and Veteran Appreciation Month in the spring it is important to make sure that they stay in our minds all year round so we can implement the programs they need to be successful in the community. Celebrations are great but meaningful programs and resources will help more so look through these examples and hopefully you will be inspired to create the next great veteran appreciation program today!

Here are some suggestions based on our experience working with the janitorial department at Alameda County on how to gain buy-in and support for sustainability efforts.
