Streamline is a teaching book on how to apply Lean and Six Sigma to make government more efficient. The story follows the struggles of City Manager Sam McConnell, who cannot keep up with the demand for more city services, due to a flat budget.

Hearing about Lean and Six Sigma, Sam turns to a local expert, asking her to train his management team in Lean and Six Sigma principles, to help improve efficiency.

Though the story is fictional, the scenarios are real life.   Readers are given clear, straightforward Lean Six Sigma training, along with the novel’s characters.
