The Deliberative Democracy Consortium promotes the work of deliberation and public engagement and assists the Center for Management Strategies through the following services:

• Delivery of presentations and workshops that give local government managers and other leaders the big picture of public engagement and help them start to make plans and decisions on engagement
• Development of training programs and curricula for presentation through ICMA University and the Center for Management Strategies
• Content contributor to ICMA’s civic engagement publications and resources.
