As early as Monday, May 12, the United States Senate could vote on Senate Bill 2123.  This bill mandates all state and local governments to engage in collective bargaining with their public safety employees.  Our local government partners on Capitol Hill have said this bill is likely to pass, pre-empting state and local authority.  Please contact your senators and inform them of your locality’s position on federally-mandated collective bargaining.  Please download talking points and other bill information below.
