The City of Cripple Creek, Colorado (https://cityofcripplecreek.com) is accepting applications for the position of City Administrator. The City is a statutory city, subject to a Municipal Code and State Statutes, that operates under the direction of the Mayor and City Council. The Council chooses to appoint a City Administrator who serves at the pleasure of the Council. The City Administrator shall be the chief administrative officer of the City of Cripple Creek and is immediately responsible to and accountable to the City Council. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Public or Business Administration or a similar field; five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in local government and/or business with a minimum of three (3) years of working in local government administration, finance, utilities or similar area; or any combination of education and experience which provides the skills and abilities required for the job.

Anticipated Starting Salary Range: $142,702 to $167,885 per year DOQ. In addition, the City offers a benefit package that includes two health and prescription plans, dental and vision insurance, long-term disability, life and voluntary life insurance, retirement program, employee assistance program, AFLAC (employee option), fitness membership as well as paid holidays and vacation and sick leave.
