WHAT YOU WILL DO: As the Economic Development Director, you will:
• Implement the City’s Economic Development Strategic Plan.
• Steward partnerships, support business growth, strengthen key industry clusters, advance workforce and talent initiatives, and help shape vibrant places such as City Center and future mixed-use districts.
• Ensure that South Burlington’s economic growth reflects its climate leadership, community identity, and long-term goals.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: Bachelor’s degree in economic development, public administration, planning, business, or related field. 7–10 years of increasingly responsible experience in economic development, innovation ecosystems, cluster development, planning, or municipal management.

SALARY RANGE: $95,000 to $125,000 annually
