Executive Leadership Opportunity
Clinton County is seeking a collaborative, strategic, and service-oriented leader to serve as its next Deputy County Administrator. This executive leadership role serves as the County’s second-in-command administrator and plays a key role in county operations, budgeting, policy development, strategic initiatives, and organizational leadership.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist the County Administrator in executive leadership and county operations
• Coordinate and support annual budget development and financial oversight
• Conduct policy research and strategic analysis
• Support Board of Commissioners committees and initiatives
• Assist with personnel and employee relations matters
• Coordinate county-wide projects and operational improvements
• Act on behalf of the County Administrator/Controller as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in public administration, Finance, Business, or related field
• Graduate coursework or Master’s degree preferred
• Minimum five years of administrative experience in county government or related public sector setting with responsibility for government finances
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational leadership skills
• Michigan Driver’s License required

Salary & Benefits
• Salary Range: $110,000 – $125,000
